Photo's are critical. Lot of time they are so unflattering. Some would actually be good if they were photo shopped for annoying backgrounds growing out of the top of your head or ear. The ones that look really sad are the ones that are half cropped and obviously cut out the Ex. Use the photo just crop it some more and enlarge it in the center of the frame.

Being a little specific about interests. Duh everybody likes music and sports ect to some degree.

And the ones that feel like they just have to say that their kids are there first interest. Well duh of course they are. A reference to age frame would be useful but I don't know that is even necessary. If you don't sell me on you first it doesn't matter if you have kids.


I am a creative person myself but I always feel a little overwhelmed if someone posts original work on and introduction profile. I feel like I have to comment on it and that would put me in an awkward position. Sounds like you are fishing for a compliment. The forums seem like a great place to share that. Or subsequent personal emails.

People who start listing people they don't want to hear from that are already covered in match preferences or site guidelines. Come on someone sends you something offensive don't whine report them the first time. You don't have to be nice to jerks and insult people who aren't.

To me at times it's not so much the profile on what i read, it's when i send an email about it and the responce i get on the comments of it that i made that stick out for me. Alot of people will go off what other profile are like and when i start to chat with them. I realize that there no where near what they put themselves out to be. Then you find some like i did the other day and how they expressed themselves on life and what they'er looking for, the realness that was shared for what i seen for being a proflie. This person is how they put themselves out to be and i can actually have a conversation. Not the do ya party,music,etc etc boring type of conversation i get most of the time.
