i told work an hour and a half before i was to be there i was going to go to the er room and work was like do o think u can come in if not and u dont call well mark u as a no call no show so when i got out i called my boss and she was like the next time u are late and miss a day you are fired and i have yet still to get my root canal!and like ive been throwing up every half over but still going into work i can stop bleeding b.c of pcos and today on top of that ive got a uti!so im like i work 40 plus overtime which works out to 92 every 2 weeks for nothing!well F*** them

You know what, you don't need that. If I were you, I'd tell your boss where she can stick it, and find a better job then that.

Sounds like they're trying to dump you. I'd find something better.

I really hate "text speak" but i think you are saying that even though you called and told them you were in the ER and then called when you got out your boss still told you that the next time you are late or miss work you are fired- and you are still sick and have to get your root canal done and you are working 92 hours a pay period and you are done with it. Did I get that right? well- honey suck it up- keep your job- i have been unemployed for a month and a half and it is absolute HELL out there. even if they piss you off stick it out- the economy is in the pits and if you are employed- enjoy it!!! believe me!!! do not blow this!!!

maybe if you threw up on the boss, then they'd believe you and give you time off? they probally give me an occurance for throwing up and leaving work lol

Did someone steal your punctuation marks? I'm guessing it is the pain killers. But really, if you called in 1.5 hours before work, they can't really call that a no show no call. Sounds like the other person said, they are trying to get rid of you. Happened to a friend of mine once. She called in ahead of time and the supervisor decided he wouldn't mark it down because he didn't like her.
