I really hate "text speak" but i think you are saying that even though you called and told them you were in the ER and then called when you got out your boss still told you that the next time you are late or miss work you are fired- and you are still sick and have to get your root canal done and you are working 92 hours a pay period and you are done with it. Did I get that right? well- honey suck it up- keep your job- i have been unemployed for a month and a half and it is absolute HELL out there. even if they piss you off stick it out- the economy is in the pits and if you are employed- enjoy it!!! believe me!!! do not blow this!!!  I must agree here; I've been out of work since January 08;  jobs are very hard to come by right now. Suck it up and hold on to that job hon. Awww...Twitch...still? I'm sorry to hear that.  Yeah ... and it's so scary and stressful. Thanks for the flower Winx

maybe if you threw up on the boss, then they'd believe you and give you time off? You beat me to it-I was going to suggest throwing up on the bosses desk. Let them fire you and collect unemployement. No job is worth losing your health over-you can't work if you are dead. Good luck! |

I don't know I've done just about everything you can do... waitress, bartend, CSR, collections, manager for a photstudio, manager for a retail store, B2B sales, Advertising sales, cashier, and there isn't a job that doesn't have it's faults...(Except taste tester at a cheesecake factory or the Bacardi factory) So I'd say suck it up and live with it...

JMO but if I were you it might be a good Idea to document when and who you talked to if you need to call in early again. Look out for number one.
