My dream:

I died in a car accident but didn't realize it, I simply thought everyone was ignoring me. My wife was a complete mess and I couldn't console her. I finally realized that I was dead, but also noticed that certain people could see me. After giving my wife clues that I was still around, she wanted so badly to see me, and the determination paid off. I knew my death was a mistake, and I was determined to find a way to fix it.
We found a scientist who was experimenting in what he called "vapor solidifacation" and he felt that he could apply the same theory and proccess to a ghost. My wife told him everything that had happened and what we needed to do. he agreed to the procedure, which turned out to be a success in it's own way. I was solid, and appeared quite alive, but there was no heart beat, breath, pulse...
I was still dead. All that had changed was that my spirit was now a physical solid being, and I could interact with the world like I had before.

This is all I remember out of it. It was really weird.

On a lot of forums there is a topic for people to post dreams; maybe that wouldn't be such a bad idea here. (But what do I know? I'm a n00b.)

Anyway, why would you think this dream means there's something wrong with you? It's a dream. I hope this is helpful. yours in Chaos, Scarlett

Who knows maybe it is telling you that your marriage is not dead after all and your wife will finally wake up and see that.

Our dreams do not always mean what you have dreamed but other aspects in our lives instead. They are come from other things in our lives that are bothering us at times.

But if it is about your marriage believe me it takes two to fix what is wrong and sitting back and wondering will never get things fixed.

Maybe that is it... Because in my dream she's the one that fought to get all of that done. However, I agreed to give her space til friday, so that's what I'll do.

Dreams are just dreams.

I like to believe there's a meaning for the dream. Always indirect, but still a meaning. And in some rare cases, maybe even precognative.

We are always free to believe what we want. But if you are thinking there is something mentally wrong with you because of a dream that in reality has NO MEANING..... well chosing to believe in false truths does not fall into any MMI in the DSM IV. laugh

I do not know you or your situation but my understanding of dreams (albeit limited) is that it is our brain trying to process a jumble of information taken throughout our recent and sometimes not so recent past.

My understanding is that, in a dream, death does not usually represent death in a true sense of the word it could be the end of a situation or a feeling that the end of something is near.

Like driving a car represents being in control if you are the one driving, or limited control if not and places in a house generally represent health issues or concerns. Seeing food in a dream normally represents problems, real or imagined, or things to be overcome. Babies in a dream actually do not represent birth or even life at all but, rather the opposite.

Colors in the dream and the way you felt when you awoke are equally as important as the dream itself and can often lend you more insight than the actual happenings of the dream.

But, at the end of the day, the dream means what you take it to mean and you should act accordingly.

I will try to help you further if you would like to email me.

Take care and good luck!
Betsy

As for colors in a dream my dreams are always black and white.

You think that's weird? huh

Then, you wouldn't want my dreams.
