Removing "religion" isn't removing "spirituality" or "morality". No one can "remove" "God" from the world.........nor their own spirit. Things have always been this way........."nothing new under the sun".

The difference now.....is we have a much larger population, therefore MORE violence. We have awesome technology that keeps us connected AROUND THE GLOBE, so we know about EVERYTHING, rather than just what happens in our own neck of the woods. The American way is about making money.........all about capitolism.......rather than about people. Greed is encouraged. Charge as much as you can for a service/product and forget about whether it is worth it or not. Charge the most for necessities because people have no choice but to pay them......... This has been going on since the beginning of this country. We stole the land from the natives............greed. The same men who claimed "Christianity" as their way of life.......slew "infidels" and stole their land. Nothing new under the sun.

Far too often religion is just used as a excuse to support bigotry in the name of God.

There is no evidence that religion has any positive affect on societies as a whole.

On the contrary, thoughtout history religion has been used as an excuse for the most horrific events ever conducted by mankind.

Show me two groups of Christians that believe the same thing...two groups of anything that believe the same thing...

I think it is our diversity that makes us so wonderful.

The great disappointment to me is how the notion of God has been molded in mans image ... albeit with the hope that it is larger and wiser ... it is still however, a great distortion from the all that really is ...

...and then it is used to label some of us better, some worse, some right, some wrong ...

all religions ONCE TOUGHT, being completed by truth coming from within, the only thing that complete not by taking away anything already believed as wrong, but by adding more to it, that is good, being to greater completion....

never, if it learn more, and religion has held to "still truth", awaiting as it were more to come to be added, so indeed, religion created MUCH GOOD, as many, many, many, as even witnessed in all the posts written here, brought each to the knowing there is MORE NEEDED, than following something from the outside as a guide, allowing the mind to come to be WILLING to accept more...........

is religion anything more than imcomplete truths, filled in with fearful perceptions, as defintions of meanings, and what can remove fear from itself except by hearing more information, that does not change what was believed, but adds more to it, making it more complete....

in reality, truth is ever growing, being added to, which means what is believed, if MORE is learned tomarrow adds, not take away, creating the natural feeling that what was believed yestersday was wrong, but it wasn't, just been added to, so was not complete, and the faster it is added to, is totally controlled by each one, by self will, as learning at one own pace, the pace quickening more and more, the more one see that all lthings proven correct, not disproven, as the mind can disprove anything, but trying to prove all things, adds the more truth, leaving the less truth to fall away naturally....

true learning in this way is FAR EASIER THAN LEARNING FROM DISPROVING ALL AS HEARD WRONG, THAT WAS NOT AS IDENTICAL TO ALL BELIEFS HELD ALREADY, AS THIS IS ACTUALLY TO LEARN AT A SNAILS PACE, WITH MANY HEARTACHES ALONG THE WAY, LOL.....

as if when the mind say "THATS WRONG", think again, and again, as anything can be proven wrong, remembering there is infinite data the mind can find to prove or disprove....

there has to be a greater truth, that removes all doubt, and can NEVER BE DISPROVEN, OR CAN THERE BE ANY TRUTH....

naturally it seems nothing is as total truth, and al as just opinion, but then within any opnion is part more truth, that can be added, and part as less truth, or what is already known, so proving all true, EXPOSE WHAT ONE ALREADY KNOWS, ADDING TO ONESELF THE MORE THAT "ALL" HOLD, THAT THE HEARER COULD NOT AS KNOWN, AS THEY ARE OF A DIFFERENT EXPEREINCE, MIND, LIFE, SO THERE HAS TO BE MORE TO LEARN, OR ALL HUMANS HAVE NOTHING TO OFFER......

the very essence of the feeling that come when beliefs are added to making one feel as "wrong" must be passed away, by a hearing HOW this emotion felt is GOOD, EVEN THE MOST BELOEVED EMOTION IN THE WORLD, AS THIS BRINGS TO GREATER WISOM, WITH GREATER ABSORBED, WHICH IS GREATER PERCEPTION, WHICH IF ONE SEES LOVE NOW, WOULD NOT GREATER PERCEPTION BE ABLE TO SEE MORE LOVE, AND GREATER OF EVERYTHING IN TIME.....

all relgions shall be added to in this way so much, that the old interpretations will be passed away, but not by removing one word from the religion, as al lwere based in a root of truth, and only greater good truth can add to these roots that once created the religion in the beginning......

can one remove what all belief so great they stake their life on it, without giving MORE GOOD INFORMATION, THAT MAKE ONE LET GO AND ADD MORE WILLINGLY.......

hell no, or this would take another religion, which would be more DEMANDS OF WHAT IS GOOD FOR SOME AS GOOD FOR ALL, OR ELSE!

can more be added by less.....

as adding more by taking away old belief's.....no way, to add must be done by adding.....

so religion will not pass away be removing, as if by burning some book, outlawing war, outlawing any certain religion, killing people that believe what they do, some wishing harm for all that do not believe, but rather must be if of peace and greater truth added belief thru MORE FREEDOM, or it goes against freedom of one and for all....

seems it must be GREAT ENOUGH GREATER TRUTH TO LIKED TO BE HEARD, ALL THINGS COMPLETED BY ADDING TO, WITH ALL FREEDOM BEING CREATED, CREATING PEACE, UNITY, AND ONENESS OF ALL MANKIND, BY COMMON BELIEVE THAT ARE WISHED TO BE EMBRACED BY ALL MANKIND, AS THE PROOF OF HOW IT IS GOOD FOR ALL WILL NOT BE ABLE TO BE DENIED, NOT EVEN BY ONE, OR IT IS STILL NOT GOOD AND POWERFULENOUGHT GREATER TRUTH, AND SUCH TRUTH AS THIS, CANNOT FAIL IN IT'S OBJECTIVE, OF PEACE AND UNNITY FOR ALL........
