Your profile and pics are fine, you should put back what you took off and dont pay any attention to the folks that dissed it. You'll find plenty of miserable people on here that have nothing better to do than knock peoples profiles, some will give you constructive advice, others, well, guess you've seen what they like to do.

Answer those questions about yourself in narrative form and be as positive and personable as you can while being true to who you are. Post candids but be warned about cleavage. I've read through this thread and checked out your profile.

I think you should write an accurate description of yourself on your profile - what YOU want on there and want people to know - and to hell with what other people think. Yeah, of course you want to attract someone, but an accurate profile will do a lot of weeding out for you. It's not foolproof, but you only have to care what the right kind of people for you think. And you'll have to weed through the e-mails you'll get.
People have to see from your profile who YOU are, and I don't think you should let anyone discourage you from doing that.

Neat thing about profiles they can easily be changed. Most people have a short memory but don't think that if you take something off your profile that it is gone. Unfortuneately it hangs around for a very long time in the great big world of "BIG BROTHER". Since you might want to not see some things in the future especially your career future I would err on the conservative side if you are still of a pre retirement age. You would be surprized how many kids have figured out how to hack in to this site and have fun spreading your bussiness around at your kids school. That doesn't even address ex's that probably can figure out who you are and your password if they want to bad enough.
