People who litter the ground with cigarette butts. Like my upstairs neighbor. not a fan of that either....yuck my ex did it all the time so it pisses me off even though I bought containers that he and his buddies could put the butts into they ALWAYS chucked them in front of the house, ARGH!!

Those that think they are better then others. Those that for some reason think the world revolves around them. Those that whine all the time ohh me ohhh my. Those that think the world owes them. When people are rude for no real reason to wait staff or any one that deals with the public. (Makes me want to reach out and grab someone)hehe Those that always complain about things in this world and the only thing they do is complain. (Shshhsh do something about it if it bothers you that much)

one of the worst pet peeves I have is when you are at the checkout and the cashier feels the need to talk to the other cashiers instead of paying attention to you. I have actually spoken up and said something to them at times, and they look at you like you are from Mars or something. I think they forget without the consumer they don't have a job!!

"Nice guy" threads..... "I'm bored" threads.... Those are definitely pet peeves of mine. I even have a directional boring picture on my profile so that I can change my main image if I post in bored threads.

I haven't been on as much lately, but I've noticed fewer "I'm bored" threads when I'm here. Maybe the bored people all bored themselves to death. Darwinism -- it works for all of us (except the dead bored people).

The guy upstairs throws them over the balcony and stairwell. They're all over the ground in front of my patio and it's completely disgusting. He also loves to smoke in the stairwell, instead of his apartment or balcony most of the time. So it reeks of cigarette smoke.

My biggest pet peeve that I have is people who lie about stupid things. I can understand if you dont tell the whole truth to spare feelings but that is not a stupid lie.

I don't like the "I'm bored" threads either. I thought there have been more lately. I used to have to move 50 of them a day from General Discussion into Chit Chat -- always the same 6 or 7 people posting them, too. I've been doing a lot less of that lately. Maybe someone else is moving them when I'm not looking?

There was 'bad' '70's music? Terry Jacks? Paper Lace? Carl Douglas? (I mean, OK, "Kung Fu Fighting" has earned its place in music history as a sort of multi-level parody, but it's kind of, uh, dated 34 years later....and maybe -- if possible, even slightly lamer than it was when it came out....?) Bay City Rollers? Captain & Tennille? For me, personally, outside of a few specific musicians -- Zappa, Bowie, Gary Numan, Eno, Roxy Music, Jack Bruce, a few others -- Elton did some stuff I liked from that era -- they can stick 70s music into the active volcano. It's the musical equivalent of "I don't know what to write here." And they truly, truly didn't. Lol.... thought for sure you'd single out disco tunes, but NOOOOoooo.... you gotta go for Terry Jacks and the Captain! "We had joy, we had fun. We had seasons in the sun" "Muskrat Susie, Muskrat Sam Do the jitterbug out in muskrat land " Classic lyrics if ever there were any! Next you'll start picking on America (the group, not the country). They did a cover of Muskrat Love you know. Think it was on the Hat Trick album. Trust me, I'm embarassed to even know these things. Ohh... and I owned the Paper Lace album with "The Night Chicago Died, Billy Don't be a hero, Happy Birthday Sweet 16, Dreams are Ten a Penny, Hitchin' a ride.....

People whp find one movie and base their entire lives around that one movie and everytime they meet someone they have to tell them about that movie and how awesome it is and how everyone should go out and buy it because a dvd collection isn't complete without it........ BTW the Collectors edition of varsity blues with 4 1/2 minutes of extra footage is soon to be released and everyone should go buy it!!!!!!!!

Do you have one? Mine is loose change. I can’t stand to have it my car or at the bottom of my purse. I've never had a pet peeve. I have a pet cat though.
