Topic: A Federal Offense to Kill ...

I had to go into the headquarter office of Social Security today to get a replacement SS card. On the door I see the following WARNING: In BIG RED LETTERS .. ((((((((((( WARNING )))))))))))) It's a Federal Offense to KILL (?) KIDNAP (?) ... yada yada... a "federal employee" ... WTH. Does that strike anyone else weird? I mean last time I checked it was illegal, a felony & a heinous crime to KILL or KIDNAP ANYONE. Does the fact that someone is employed by the Federal Gov't kinda give them clout to NOT be murdered? Uhhh .. I'm ready to take someone out, but heck .. it says its a Federal offense .. that shot that in the hole. I'll just go to a State office? or a grocery store? or a local car dealership? Random. Just random.

Yup. And doing the same to Postal employees will net you the same result, as they're federal employees as well. Throwing hard candies at small children will only get you strange looks, though.

it was warning for terrorist really? but what if they took out a state employee instead?

Just random. Actually...kidnapping only becomes a Federal offense if the person is taken across state lines. I guess the boundaries are removed when it comes to someone who actually works FOR the government.

Just don't kill any federal employees because you know federal prison is a lot worse than regular prison where murderers go for killing the regular people.

Just don't kill any federal employees because you know federal prison is a lot worse than regular prison where murderers go for killing the regular people. exactly what I was thinkin .. the fed staff should be glad we cover their butts like that eh?
