In some States, if not all, it is a legally punishable offense to commit suicide. It is actually against the fu**ing law!

Now, if I am going to give a rat's kuzoo about the government's edict, then somebody should just mash my passion fruit and renew my common sense.

This equates with that warning that you find to be so insensible. If you're going to commit such a heinous act, then what difference does some written nonsense make?

exactly my point .. it's like the guy looks at the sign and says to himself

"OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOHHHHHHHHHHHh .. I didn't REALIZE it was a FEDERAL offense ..... I'll take my guns and explosives to a more murder-friendly venue" bigsmile pitchfork

just a clause hun, when they go in there and kill 3 or 4 people, they use the excuse that they could'nt read.!!!!laugh laugh laugh grumble

Hummm Seahawk in the states it does not matter as far as the laws one can not use the excuse I did not know the law. As far as that goes you are expected to know the laws. Therefore the excuse that you did not know will not fly in the USA when it comes to the Laws. But......... of course they can always try to use they are insane. But then if they show intent and it can be proved that they planned it out ect.... well then that want fly either.bigsmile

The last time I went, there was a security guard sitting on her arse in the waiting room. Go to a crazy place like the DMV, no security to be found.

What pisses me off the fact that you cannot delete your social security number once it's been given to you via approval of your parents at your birth. You stuck with the dog gone thing.

why would you delete it? you need it for everything under the sun .. it was a pain in the butt for me to go get a duplicate.

Used to be you could just memorize the # but not anymore. Terrorists sealed that deal. *sigh*

Just don't kill any federal employees because you know federal prison is a lot worse than regular prison where murderers go for killing the regular people. whoa

Actually Federal prisons are a basic Country Club

I had to go into the headquarter office of Social Security today to get a replacement SS card.

On the door I see the following WARNING:

In BIG RED LETTERS ..

((((((((((( WARNING ))))))))))))

It's a Federal Offense to KILL (?) KIDNAP (?) ... yada yada... a "federal employee" ...pitchfork

WTH.

huh Does that strike anyone else weird?

I mean last time I checked it was illegal, a felony & a heinous crime to KILL or KIDNAP *ANYONE*. shades

Does the fact that someone is employed by the Federal Gov't kinda give them clout to NOT be murdered? slaphead

Uhhh .. I'm ready to take someone out, but heck .. it says its a Federal offense oops .. that shot that in the hole. shocked scared

I'll just go to a State office? or a grocery store? or a local car dealership?

Random. Just random. spock

no...no no no no

You THINK you need it.

What you really need is MONEY. All a social security number does is hand over power to OTHER people. Doesn't do you any good unless you plan on using the useless benefits, relying on pennies (or less, the way things are going) when you're too old to care about anything. There's also the fraud/theft aspect of it all. Who would want a number? I know who I am.

Well I've had the same job for 12 years, but I bet if I went to apply somewhere and they asked for my social and I didn't have one, I would be told to get one  or keep looking.

I'm a rebel, but not THAT much of one ..LOL

Wear a sign that says go Federal thats were it is at. noway noway oops sorry that was in bad taste.

But it does make you wonder why anyone no matter what type of job they have would make a difference if they get killed then when Joe blow down the street gets killed. Should it not be the same charges hey they breath, walk and talk too why the special treatment.

Is it just that maybe they will guide the killers down the street cause that other persons life is not important?

But ironic as it is now honestly if you know your going down and you want to take a few down with you. Where you going to go some house in the getto were you will make page three in the paper? Or are you going to hit a post office or some big Office Building or Bank so not only will you be on Page One but.........on the news for the next 2-3 days worldwide? Duhhhhh

So to me all those signs do is draw atttention to the Federal Employees instead.

I'm with you on this one. Cash is the only way to be free. Although that may be worthless soon too which means if you're really smart you'll simply move somewhere and become completely self sufficient. flowerforyou

OK, heres a thought... maybe the difference isnt the death of a federal employee but the fact there are better paid attorneys to convict you for killing a federal employee. You know, maybe that is what the difference is. Instead of a local District Attorney it is a federal procutor telling you it is a crime to kill someone.
