I've been back home for almost 8 years now after moving to another State, lived in town for 35 years... Wish I'd come back sooner..

I'd always lived in big cities, and when my Dad passed away when I was 14, we moved from Denver to the largest city in SD, pop. maybe 180,000? I felt like I was living in the sticks! But as time goes by, I could easily see myself living in a cabin in the mountains, or a quaint little town somewhere. Guess I'm the only one that can make that happen, right?

to the place I belong.... I was at my brother's bday party today and a band played this song. I came from a rural town where everyone knew everyone or of them at least. His party was in said town where he was a cop for 30 years or so. (He's 20 years older than me) I only live 30 minutes away, and I forgot what that kind of town was like. I think I miss it. I think I'll buy me a farm and marry a good 'ole country boy.... Think I can pull it off? ...nope. You can take the girl out of crakron ohio but you can't take the crakron ohio out of the girl.
