Topic: A friend of mine has a problem...

the cat's anal gland is more-than-likely plugged up. so you probably WILL have to express whatever's in there at some point. most pet groomers will express the gland by squeezing it, which will send the goop flying (Mike Rowe demonstrated this quite proficiently on an episode of "Dirty Jobs"). it's either that or it's got a case of worms, which is not good.

I mean...how do you empty it...If you stick a finger in...will it drain??? I'm going to answer you and you are going to laugh at me...but yes you have to put your finger up there and drain it.... but take it to the vet and let them do it.... Let the laughter begin.... which finger...can they use there thumb??? Well...if someone was gonna stick a finger in YOUR butt....and you DIDN'T want them to....which finger would YOU prefer??
