What am I doing wrong that makes it near impossible to meet some new friends? Not that I am tired of my old ones, I just remember a time in my life where not a day went by I didn't meet someone new and interesting to talk to. Granted, I don't travel at ALL anymore. I was, for a period of five years, traveling the country meeting all sorts of interesting people. Now that I'm back home, and most likely for good, it sort of stopped. Not for lack of trying either, I get out of the house a fair amount, but I really only see the same 5 or 6 people on a regular basis. I guess what I really mean to say is, simply, hello. :)

Eh,I've been on it a long time. I just rarely ever get on here and do anything. I usually only check this thing about once a month and see if I got any messages and whatnot. Almost always not a thing, though, so I tend not to be all that worried about checking it.

I am old, nearly fifty, and although I have many acquaintances I can count my closest friends on one hand. I like it that way honestly.

I remember seeing a news item once that said people tend to change or shift their friends and associates every seven years or so. I am not sure that's true but looking back over the years I have made some shifts when I changed jobs or where I live.

It's funny isn't it that with all the ways we have to communicate with other people many of us are more isolated now than people were in the past.

It's the I don't care syndrome.
Small talk yuck, hi how are you, what ya do today, and on and on and on it goes.

What is anyone looking for? Needy hmm....I think so otherwise who would be here?
We all are here for a need but let's not say that let's say your needy and move on.

I know where you're coming from it's like I want someone but no conversation. Plus we all got old, got a life, either kids and etc. and just don't buy the thoery anyone is worth the time or effort. I'm up for that one for sure.

No not having a time of it, just wasting my time with it. How come you go to the paysites and there are lots of women from the area posted and paying for what when you can get the same thing here?
I get your grief, but wow we all need something and what are we really looking for is my question?

What are we looking for?

Well, if you're looking for emails from here, you might want to lower your restrictions a bit- women have to live within 50 miles to email you. Just a thought.flowerforyou
