What's the use? Too many posters on this board would rather buy a bill of goods, point fingers, thump bibles and ignore facts. What's the use? I am beginning to think posting here is useless. Not that I will stop haha Telling the truth, and posting facts instead of lies leaves many posters unmoved. They counter with hatred of liberals and non-Christians, along with paranoia about taxes rising, terrorists attacking and secret Muslim plots. Maybe I should try repeating one non-word over and over in a long post that might catch the attention of some? What's the use? tell the truth. always tell the truth. it will set you free! 
i like facts. if taxes are raised this is not paranoia. when terrorists blow up buildings it is a real attack. militant islamists do pervert the religion with intolerance and summary public beheadings for trivial offenses while planning to eradicate those who seek to peacefully coexist. Know what? Taxes are going up no matter who is in office? Know why? Because in the last nearly eight ears we have gone from a surplus to an obscenely large deficit and the republicans are spending like a drunk a sailor. Someone has to pay the bill eventually. If you can't figure that out I'd like to see your checkbook. What's the use? taxes often go up but beware how it is done.... taxes do not have to go up however - spending can go down. (i prefer that govt spending go down) it is true that W mortgaged our future it is obscene. the bill will not be pretty. but additional spending will not help. disgusting but that was W's strategy to set back his political opponents agenda a generation. he succeeded. As for you love it or leave it types. You might as well quit singing that old tune. I love it so much I will stay and attempt to defend it from you neo-fascist who are driving this country daily away from the country that our founding fathers envisioned. What's the use? How any of you can continue to buy the repeated and blatant lies for the McCain/Palin campaign I will never know. I am assuming, based on the topics some chose to post, a great deal of you get all your political information from campaign ads or highly partisan sites. What's the use? i love it. america. what a country we have. exercising our freedom - it's the best!! sadly, Obama/Biden are just as full of BS as McCain/Palin. i have no illusions on either side. but neither ticket has an outstanding strategy for solving our current problems. so, what's the use? education, growth, fun and progress... and stimulating discussions!

bottom line is, we will never know if our own government had anything to do with 9/11. we will never know if the "real" motivation for this war is oil or a threat on the life of Bush senior or 9/11. all of the hatred we exchange here is useless so just shut it for once. respect the dead. the innocent that lost their lives and their families that ache for just another moment with them. put your opinions away and mourn. that's what this day is about. |
