I think it varies from person to person, some care, some don't.
Historically I've gone for younger girls but I dated someone 4 years older than me and it was an enjoyable experience. Too bad I was a young idiot on that one!

idn... when i meet a girl who dates a guy a lot older than her or vice versa, its kinda weird. two or even three years is nothing. but i met a girl the other day who is 19 and was dating a 26 year old. i was like, wow. it just rubs me funny. whats it say about the guy? is he reallly immature? or is it the other way around. i know i may be sounding like a moron here but im just throwing my hat in the ring. creepy with an extra side of rape. jk. Well, many women think older men are more settled, especially financially, I have a friend like that, she thinks it's a waste of time to date younger guys because they "have nothing"-ie. their own house, car, good job, money, etc. Maybe the 19 year old and the 26 year old have interests in common, who knows? |

Preferably the same age or no more than 10 years younger. I would like to find someone who would be wanting to have at least one kid. Most older women I've encountered are not wanting any more children. When it comes to the younger ones, I wasnt to be comfortable as her man... and not feel like I'm her father.

I think that age is irrelevant-it's a state of mind. I will be 46 in 2 weeks. I have been single for about 6 years, and don't think about having to have someone in my life. I have met some younger men who are very mature, and some older men who act like they have one foot in the grave! It's all about attitude and you should never have a pre-conceived judgement about someone because of their age. Just an observation...

15 to 20 years younger is too young for me.......sorry........I cant do it!!! I have for the most part gone out with guys who were about 5 years younger......even married younger.......and if they were all that I would have stayed with them right????
I dated a guy that was quite a bit older than me but.........uhhhhhhhhhh no........nope.........nopppppppppppppe!!!

ive always dated guys who were older. i just dont have much in common with guys my age. most are still in the party get drunk stage and im not. and i dont know older guys are just more mature.
so yah i dont think age is really a factor i just pesonally wouldnt date a guy who is old enough to be my dad. |

age...is an issue of mind over matter...If you don't mind...it doesn't matter...

I've never understood why a random statistic should be more important than the actuality of a living, breathing human being. Of course, I have my own deal-breakers, but age isn't one of them. I've dated younger and older, in some cases quite a bit either way, and, for me, it's all about the person, not the numbers.
