I live in an apartment complex where we have to share a laundry room, 2 washers, 2 dryers. I go down there this morning and one lady has both washers and both dryers occupied and tells me "It's going to be a while." This is why I never, no matter how much laundry I have, occupy both washers and both dryers. While she is getting HER laundry done no one else can even so much as do one load. Some people's children....musta missed out at the age of, oh I don't know, 2, the concept of sharing with your peers!!!!!!

I'm glad I don't live in an apartment!!

thats why i wouldnt use the machines where i used to live, so i would go to the laundary matt a block away and it was much easyier no complaining,

We have a landromat here too, but it is 4 blocks away and I don't have a vehicle. Aside from that, it costs twice as much there and half the time the machines there are not operational. |

This is why when looking for an apartment, those with washers and dryers in the apartments were on the top of my list. After college, I couldn't live somewhere where I had to share a washer and dryer with others.

Hummm have not lived in a Apartment in years. Feel for ya but there is noting like having your own house with a washer and dryer in it.
But maybe you should suggest to the Apartment Complex to post a sign not to occupy both washers and dryers at one time. In order for other residence to have one if needed. |

This is why when looking for an apartment, those with washers and dryers in the apartments were on the top of my list. After college, I couldn't live somewhere where I had to share a washer and dryer with others. My name is on the list for a unit with washer and dryer hook-ups here, but that won't be for a while. Just don't get that folks don't think beyond themselves.... |

Hummm have not lived in a Apartment in years. Feel for ya but there is noting like having your own house with a washer and dryer in it. But maybe you should suggest to the Apartment Complex to post a sign not to occupy both washers and dryers at one time. In order for other residence to have one if needed. That's exactly what I am going to do first thing Monday morning. I used to rent a house before I moved here, had a washer and dryer, so yeah I really miss the convenience. |
