The lake in the mountain,
gently awaits you presence
rippling blues, sky so true
stand upon the dock
let your thoughts flow thru
chase away those bad memories,
that daunt you
when at times you are lost
and feelings are abound
come to the lake in the mountains
where no one else is around
with the wind
softly blowing through your hair
there's no one to stare
chasing down the afternoon air
without a single care
caress your emotions
let them burn up wild
like the fondest childhood memory
become like a child
jump, run, laugh
forget about the past
grab a hold of a good memory
and make it last,
so go ahead and go be-on
the daily humdrum
take a drive out to mountain
look out onto the lake
as far as the eye can see
the fingers of the trees
are dipping into the water
touching the soft embrace
of the swirls going by
the darkest blue colors
paint the beauty of it all
as the tree line breaks
the matching color of the sky
wrap it up in your arms
all of mother natures charms
a gift she gives to us
each day we deal unjust

As the waters ripple and the air smells pure.
I wish so often that this was our cure.
Feeling free and one with Mother nature.
