Yeah, a good friend of mine lives in one of those small town situations, even though its a true suburb, oddly enough. Yet, the only place in the area for karaoke is once a week. I understand your situation there, as its the one time you get to blow some stress and express yourself. I'd hate to be in that position myself. Music is a daily part of my life. I write this from the computer in my home recording studio. I couldn't imagine life without music on a regular basis.

i work in a bar where we do kareoke.. hated it.. traded with another bartender cause i could nto handle it..

Wow I thought kareoke was all in fun if it is taken that serious that is sad. Let them have their moment and move on what does it really hurt?
How hard is it to endure 4-5 minutes in order to let someone feel good about themselves and bring a smile to their face? JMO |

If I asn't afraid of being "hurt" I would love to boo a lot of the people that get on stage. ME .... NEVER .... would I get up and sing in front of a bunch of drunks. Those guys though, they dont't seem to care.
Oh well, I try to stay out of those places. It's alot easier on my ears. LOL Later and Wishing you all peace from within |

I mean hey , not many people hasn't been drunk of their a$$ and not gone up and made a fool outta theirselves! LMAO I know I have many of times and still do ! Sure I do love to sing, however when I am serious, I go to the studio , for fun I go get lit up as heII and have a bast! THe WORSE the tone is the better I say . Like to see some of MG2 ppl up there for all to see! bET most wouldn't! But yeah , just have fun with it! JMO |
