BB King Eric Clapton Django Reinhardt Ok so I didn't read the topic...maybe Mr. King doesn't qualify. Reinhardt was a jazz guitarist who influenced many of the greats such as Hendrix and Vaughn so I'll keep him in. I'll replace BB King with Les Paul. |

1. Dave Gilmour because he can take melody to a new level with his solos
2. Stevie Ray Vaughn could make you feel like trying without ever saying a word. 3. Johnny Ramone is the one who made me pick up a guitar and learn to play |
|
|
|
3. George Lynch (Dokken)- The most unrecognized guitarist ever. His solo's were smooth as silk.
2. Slash- Just love his style, and man his solo on November Rain is like the saddest guitar solo ever. 1. Jimi Hendrix- God of the guitar. Nuff said. |

I void this list cause Eric Johnson is on it. Hmm... um, yeah, George Lynch? Okay then. ::sweet smile:: |

BB King - Not that I listen to him often, but his subtle style leaves me amazed everytime I do hear him.
Slash - maybe not the perfect technical guitarist, but one of the last few who can make you feel the emotion pouring out of his Les Paul. Zakk Wylde - Kudo's for bringin' the baddass back into the rock guitar world |
