I CAN'T BE ALONE IN THIS! Any of you guys hate writing e-mails to people on this site knowing 9 of 10 wont be replied to? Me personally i write e-mails all day to different companies seeing if they want to buy what im selling. 8 of 10 never get back to me.... Seriously annoying as for this site... if you write a long email and dont get a reply its annoying cuz you spent time trying to be clever only to find your anything but lol so you switch to short e-mails and that dosent work, they think your boring lol ahhhhh the pitfalls i tell ya! ********************************************************** U onna the wrong Site Bro.... Charls, if your getting 10% that is great!!! I'm lucky if I get 1 in 100,but then again if you think you can do better then you best Nut's Up and Start with your Face to face... You can do NO WORSE through Direct Aproach and you will get much further in person than you ever will on the internet... This is where you Mind can shine, this is where you are seen for your intellect and how you respond to conflict... Keep is SHORT, ( Hi ),( Hello ),( How are you ? ) give nothing, untill you GET SOMETHING... As long as they wonder, they will pursue you, but if you give them everything, they have NO FURTHER Intrest in YOU... |

Well...I have actually had pretty good luck in emailing women here. Mainly because I actually read their profile...and just start off by saying something about what they put there. I never say the words " I am interested " in my first emails. One of the best friends I made here ( who has since deactivated because of real life problems ) said something about Seinfeld in her profile and said she was looking for someone who could talk about nothing. I just emailed her and said I could do that with the best of them, and we wound up be really good friends. Ya know it is funny if more went along this line most likely they would get their e-mails answered. For even in e-mails others want to know your sincere in what you say and not the same one or two lines that seem to be standard with most. Reading ones profile and really remembering something they said in it will catch their attention faster then: Hey how are ya want to chat? Those get old to standard make and effort if you expect a response. JMO

Don't ever write long emails, they seem canned and people usually talk too much about themselves in them and it leaves no room for questions.... ask questions about the lady, and if she is interested she will in return ask about you.... If she's not, she will either ignore you, or give short one or two word answeres...then you haven't wasted time and energy on someone who is not interested... I was posting in a thread one day about astrology and a man asked me about it (it's one of my passions in life) we still talk to this day...That was 4 months ago, because of distance only I haven't married him..... ask what kind of questions? and really distance is the reason you havent married him? i can give you the number to a local Uhaul. Questions about themselves. Questions about their profile. Questions about their interests. There are so many things people could ask about. |

I learned my lesson after about my first month here -- and I NEVER send a first e-mail anymore. No point. After I had been here awhile, I started getting lots of e-mails, and that continues to this day. People see something I wrote in the forums, or something I wrote in my profile, and they just naturally either have to congratulate me for being brilliant and saying all the things that no one else will say, or tell me what a complete idiot I am. Works for me either way. But I will never send out a first e-mail again. |
