HI all,,

Well I have no problems talking with the fairer sex if its bussiness
related or if I have known them a long time.But you get me in a relaxed
atmosphere like a club playing pool or just plain drinking and have one
walk up to me,, and I shut up quicker than a stage coach robber running
from the possee, and when i do get the courage to say something i can
guarantee 99% of the time its the wrong thing to say.If we are just
shooting pool I am fine, or talking about pool, or darts then i can
chat,,turn it to personnel stuff and my tongue turns to sandpaper

bummer guess ya need to work on that eh?

Try reading some self-help books, sounds like you might have some
confidence issues. Lots of good reading material, that could help you
learn to think positive. Helped me.

Be honest, be yourself; try & relax. It can be intimidating sometimes,
remember, everyone goes through it to some degree or another. It's okay
to get stuck sometimes.... okay to pick out a couple of subjects to
discuss, a couple of jokes to warm up to someone. When you're trying to
hard it'll show. Let your date know it's not so easy for you & if she's
a decent person, she'll be understanding and maybe even help you get
past that road block. Flatter her if all else fails :) Good luck.
