Being a "nice guy" myself I know the nice guy problem. It is actually being a nice guy instead of pursuing the girl. The times I quit being nervous about what she thought and actually went after it were the times things worked out. I think the women can sense the nervousness and such even if they are not fully aware. Turn over a new leave like me and take the, just go for it attitude. I am asking the girl I am interested in out tomorrow. Not taking a maybe or anything. Either yes, or I am not interested. That way I either get a date, or can move on.

I'm going to copy this so all I have to do in the future is copy it.
Why do nice guys finish last is the question, here is the answer from a once "nice guy". We are a burden more then we are a treasure, think about it this way everyday your lady hears the same "I think you're beautiful" so it begins to wear on her (she grows either annoyed or accepting, either/or it is negative). After perhaps a couple of months of the same phrase and the gift giving the constant uplifting she starts to wear with the relationship, thus she grows weary of the future (life is not a fairytale)...so after this goes on possibly for years she wants a change of pace, someone to compliment her eyes, dress, legs, hair, etc. Something other then "you're beautiful" she wants a statement that can be played and used in different contexts because lets face it "you're beautiful" can only go so far. Don't get me wrong the statement is good, but use it responsibily and not liberally. Now for the copy.

Yes, that is exactly what you want to do.....  For me it's not the nervousness that gets to me, it's the wishy washy I can't make a decision it makes me feel like they really aren't interested. they elude to asking you out, then they don't, they say they will call then they don't because they couldn't get the nerve up.... But the ones who deem themselves NICE never are anymore "nice" than the ones who are the assholes... They both act the same, but the jerk guy pays for dinner. |

Is it because I remeber there brith days,almost never forget to get them gift on holiday, I'm always giveing them advice, They send mix message, but they only like me as a friend? Humm okay back to the Topic in hand. Honestly it could be that you start treating them more so as a friend instead from the beginning. Maybe the problem is you need to let them know how you really feel about them instead. For one will never know unless you tell them.

I have a group of guy friends, we go camping, out to the bars, play sports together ect ect... They are only friends due to a few facts... 1.) Some of them I am only attracted to as a friend. 2.) Some of them that in the past I have been attracted to I have watched how they treat other women and the words they use...slutty and whore are two of them... If they use these words they are not of a caliber that I would date. They are my friends because of the way they treat me, but would never date them due to their inmatureity of respect. 3.) I have been friends with girls they have dated and I don't do that. |
