reminds me of of my dealings with "lil' miss text message", otherwise known as one of my online dating mistakes... ... i've already talked about this one ad nauseum, so i won't bore anyone with the details, but she had this massive crackberry jones and would text her friends about anything of no significance whatsoever. food at the restaurant? that's a texting. drinks on the table? that's a texting. waiter a cuter fella than the date (namely ME!)? that's a texting, with photos. and the WORST part is that she spent SO much time texting and stuff that her food got cold and she wouldn't eat it, which pretty much meant i wasted good money on a wasted dinner, all thanks to that wench's crackberry. i shoulda grabbed that infernal device and chucked it out a window. I can't believe this actually took place. Oh my word. You should have texted her saying, "so how's your food? pretty delicious huh?" |

I guess this person likes being a one time date to treat you so badly. His/her loss.
I wouldn't get stuck on being humiliated about it. It is their bad behavior not yours so nothing to be humiliated about. Yea you made a not so great pick but I don't know many who ba one thousand % so a few zero's are going to happen. One thing I have learned over the years is if your instinct tells you a date is bad news listen and don't make the effort in the first place. I don't think I would stand anybody up but I have said no to dates or cancelled out. Even excused myself and walked out on a couple. Makes a good case for always making your date to do somewhere fun you will be able to enjoy if they turn out to be not so great. Not includeing alcohol on a first date is also a pretty good idea. If someone is acting like a creep it is always going to be applified if they are drinking or you get mad or embarrassed an drink. You didn't mention this was a factor but might have been why he thought he was so charming when he was selfish and stupid. Maybe it will be a comfort to know that the next nice date will seem better because you have a new appreciation from enduring this one. Hang in there. |

The date i went on about a week ago happened to be the day before my bday. i met the guy at the restaurant and he handed me a card. i thought he was being nice and opened it. It was a homemade gift certificate for a full body massage, but before it could be redeemed i had to "pay" him 500 kisses and they had to be paid within 4 hours of opening the coupon. i had just met the guy for goodness sakes. I laughed about it and we went into the restaurant. he insisted on sitting beside me in the booth and then turned sideways and just stared at me. didnt even eat his food cause he was staring and kept saying how pretty i was. he even commented to the waiter about how pretty i was. made me so uncomfortable i went to the restroom and called my daughter and told her to call me in an hour to get me outa there. he also had a list of 200 questions to ask me and he wrote down my answers to the questions. that was the longest hour waiting for my daughter to call.

We both met out of toWn......we had dinner wich I paid the tip then he payed for! Things going well! Then we went for sone drinks & music! Which I paid for! Well he must of been flirting with this chick who by the way was with a man! Then we sat down because I don't let small sh** like that bother mE! But, he got up & left me there for like 20 minutes because he was talking to her! I was embarressed & no one has eVer made me feel so humulitated in my life!
