politics are boring... Id rather get stabbed in the eye than listen to an old man speak politics, even if it was an atractive lady speaking politics, put a fork in my eye.

I believe two people w/opposing political views can make it work and should run for office to prove it
two people that want to make a relationship work will succeed, those that only one or neither party wants it to work, will fail. regardless of policital views or favorite brand of toothpaste |

why not? politics is a crock anyway, like it really matters......sheesh

Good points. One of my best friends is a communist and we do okay. We agree to disagree. Of course, communism is an extreme example. I was thinking more republican vs. democrat. I guess it's like Mirror said, depends on whether or not you take it seriously. And, I don't. |

It can work....but most of the time it doesn't. In cases where I knew the people, politics and religious beliefs came in the way, even when both parties said it wouldn't. All I would want is for her to respect my views, and vice versa. And then have hot debates, followed up with hot sex. Oh yeah!

I might not like someone's views, but I can hear them out and accept it. But we all try to change someone else's views, or belittle theirs. Like Ruth said, you have to agree to disagree. |

in a relationship? Can two people who have drastically differing political view points have a good relationship otherwise? sure as long as he agrees I'm right and he's wrong |

i dont think it could for me personally.
because i really take some political views to heart like abortion because of my medical condition. so in my situation i dont think it'd work if we had radically different views. but every relationship is different. |
