Good grief Debbie, I am so sorry, its one thing after another, of coarse all women, are subject to osteoporosis, which, simply is the bones eventually looking like swiss cheese, so you need to see what your doc will prescribe for you, you need some calcium in some form, milk or milk products or vitamin form, but check with your doc. osteoporosis is a disorder where your bones lose their calcium, which gives them structural rigidity. it's otherwise known as "broken bone syndrome" and can be quite serious in older people.

there are no discernible symptoms (other than your bones breaking more easy, but that doesn't start to happen once the osteoporosis has gone past a certain point) and there is no sure-fire way to cure it. the only thing you can do is start taking calcium supplements or by taking in foods rich in calcium, which will fortify your bones and therefore sort of stem the loss of the mineral in your body.

keep in mind that taking in too much calcium can result in your getting kidney stones, though.

i know, the pain of the endometrosis and from my bladder and now could be osteprosis is getting me down, the demerol isnt touching me, im going back up the doctors in a hour, i might have to go on morphine or something, i dont know. i was shocked yesterday when they said my adrenal glands appear to have totally failed now, and they may never work again. what the hell next!!!

thanks for the links, they said if its not osteprosis it could be arthirtus, because my pain is so bad.

i drink a lot of milk, they think i have it due to the pain in my bones, or it could be arthirtus. 28 years of being on steroids they said has caused the osteoprosis if i have got it

now is a good time to begin weight lifting...Ive heard its a great thing for keeping your bones strong..Im 47 and osteoporosis has affected the women on my mothers side severly (we actually shrink from the bone loss)...you dont have to weight lifts like a body builder either, just light weights, on a regular basis to help strenghten and tone all of your muscles....

I understand perfectly, about not wanting to move. Have you ever tried Arizona, here in the states, supposed to be good for respiratory issues.
