I love people who want to put down others to make themselves feel better... or better yet, ones that want to criticize one thing and then botch up something related and act like they know what they are talking about....

My problem is that I can’t even read. I just look at the pretty pictures. So; I guess that spelling and reading go hand in hand. And my sentence structure is even worst. |

As a teacher misspelling drives me crazy. But then it also points out potential scammers. Their spelling and grammer gives them away. But then one could use Firefox. It catches misspelling. You are a teacher but you misspelled " grammar " ???? LOL Practice what you preach my dear!!! |

Hmmmmm. What I tend to see more these days is a simple lack of looking at the screen and proofreading before one hits "post reply". I do it, as I'm not perfect, but I see some who do it time and time again. Just read what you write before you post it. One can see the errors clearly, most times.

when i edit a post , the majority of the time it is for grammar/spelling corrections.

Lilith, you're scaring me HA!!! I interview folks who speak this language every day. If I hear "It's been a minute" once more a time question... "How long have you lived in that apartment on Main St?" (for example)... I might just hurt someone. |

Why can't anyone spell correctly? Isn't that what spell check is for? Hi - I'm BeautifulMomma & that friends is my pet peeve! It is a universal rule of dating sites (at least the 11,992 I've tried) that 90% of the people will not be able to spell or use proper grammar or punctuation. For me, this is a good thing, because it tells me something about the person.... I mean, when someone writes "I seen too dog's cheiwng on bone's in the back yaird over by the tree's," any prior urges I might have had to contact them are quickly quashed....!
