Who has watched Jurassic Park? If we could could use genetic techology and bring back dinosaurs....the question is; should we? |

hell no Twighlight.....what are you thinking? At least fossils and drawings/pics....and some movies can't eat us!

I would love to have a pet T-Rex

Yikes, run for your life!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

At any point when we can recreate the past in order to understand it better to make a better future, im all for it. People were here with and after dinosaurs, dont see an issue if you bring them back and contain them like we do animals now.

They are extinct for a reason...it was there time to go...and for mammals(damn dirty apes) to rule the world

If we don't blow ourselves up, then I half expect genetic engineering to eventually get us...

(But this is the only place to put this) Who has watched Jurassic Park? If we could could use genetic techology and bring back dinosaurs....the question is; should we? Sure we can resurrect the herbivores, but the carnivores I'm not so sure about, we could place them in cages, but I'm not sure if that will keep them out of harms way for long. |

I think it has nothing to do with ethics. If we develop the technology, use it. Raise the wooly mammoth!

Ahh... but we never stop at anything. We do because we can. We said we'd never clone. Then came Molly. We said we'd only clone for medical reasons. Then we started cloning our pets. They said we'd never clone humans. Wanna bet on this one? I know where I'm putting my money. We do because we can. |

Keep them in cages for what? Brings a new meaning to BIOLOGICAL WARFARE! "Sick Spike! Sick 'em boy!" |

BTW, not all dinosaurs were big or carnivores yeah....but we would become dinosaur toe jam....AKA....the jam between elephants toes....slow natives!Stopped on! I'll have to plant a garden I see then becuase Dr.Twighlight will soon be hatching egglins |

At any point when we can recreate the past in order to understand it better to make a better future, im all for it. People were here with and after dinosaurs, dont see an issue if you bring them back and contain them like we do animals now. I agree with your point...afterall history repeats itself. But, my fear...other than man eating predators, is what effect a species would have on our enviroment when its not meant to be here. Even if the species was an prehistoric plant or small insect. In the quantom chaos theory branch of physics we are taught to fear this change because what we know from the "butterfly effect". Which is said that the flutter of a butterfly's wing could cause a tsunami across the world. Evolution takes time. If we brought dinosaurs back we'd be altering not just genes. But thousands of years of evolution in a short period of time. My thoughts is some poop is bound to "hit the fan". |

Sure, bring 'em back, as long as the owners have to pick up the droppings and take care of vet bills and law suits...
