Its an interesting question and one that does tend to hold the imagination captive! The problem is any time you introduce a new species, the weaker will always be wiped out. I guess I wonder who is stonger, people or dinosaurs. Who do you think would win? Are you thinking in terms of bringing all of them back or just a select few? There is also the possibility of introducing a disease they may or may not carry. It would be cool though wouldn't it! Its to bad that really cool science gets warped and twisted by a small number of people.

(But this is the only place to put this)

Who has watched Jurassic Park?

If we could could use genetic techology and bring back dinosaurs....the question is; should we?

ABSOLUTELY!!! What better way to get rid of the people who are so stupid that they shouldn't be allowed to breed than to have them get eaten by a dinosaur???

Has anyone asked what the effects of playing God might be? What about the delicate feature of Mother Nature? If they were suppost to be here in the Here and Now, wouldn't they be?????
I, for one, do NOT want to be the bottom of the food chain nor do I want to answer to a pist off higher power for making that decision.....
JMO!!!!

well like it or not they are in the process of decoding the genetic samples they have and not making a dino, but retro-fitting current species to perform/appear like a thunder lizard...welcome to the end of the world!

I say leave well enough alone,
there is probbley a very- very good reason
why they are EXSTINKED (sorry spellinglaugh).

It would be rather funny though- just to
see how WRONG those scientist are about their
reconstuctions talents with the bones though... devil

Huh?

What for?

To watch them starve, and to die agonising deaths in a poluted and toxic environment, they are not evolved to cope with?

For those that dont comprehend my logic, the high level of heavy metals in the waterways, and air, would kill a dinosour rather painfully and rapidly, as would the lack of digestible food stuffs, or even availability.

As their digestive and breathing systems had evolved to manage water and air from times when it was unpolluted.

Ummmm...no.

Sure we can resurrect the herbivores, but the carnivores I'm not so sure about, we could place them in cages, but I'm not sure if that will keep them out of harms way for long.

Ahh... but we never stop at anything. We do because we can. We said we'd never clone. Then came Molly. We said we'd only clone for medical reasons. Then we started cloning our pets. They said we'd never clone humans. Wanna bet on this one? I know where I'm putting my money. We do because we can.
I don't think they will ever successfully clone a human myself
