I had one like that. We had something set up to meet, then she tells me she's moving, either to a nearby town, or another state, she's not sure. I hear back a few weeks later, she picked the nearby town. I tell her cool, let me know when you're settled, and never hear from her again.

Then of course there are the one's you find... they do actually e-mail you... then they turn out to be some kind of convulutent drama experiment... thrashing your ears with extrenuous amounts of choas until they finally get around to blowing flames in your direction for no apparent reason...

At which time you tell them to go to hell, and hang up on them...

Jeez... I really have little faith in the 40-and-over crowd pertaining to be single AND having a brain that is not configured for PSYCHOPATH.....

I am a good man, something many women would die for, and it is next to impossible to find even one compatible person that lasts more than 30 days through one of these Internet sites.

I have a friend, though... and he met his wife on a dating site... they are now happily married and have a THIRD child on the way between them...

I never got a reply to any first e-mail I ever sent out here. And I'm a published author -- it's not like I don't know how to write an interesting, or amusing, or insightful, or vaguely threatening e-mail, when the need arises....

I gave up trying to write to anybody here ages ago; I posted a few thousand times in the forums, got known, and now I get tons of e-mail.

And I never send out a first e-mail anymore. Never.

Admittedly, all of my e-mail is from people who are 897,000 miles away, but you can't have everything.

I have to agree, it is both men and women that do that, and sometimes I have done it, but that was because I deleted all of my emails and forgot to answer some. I do try to answer all emails, but sometime I am guilty of the same thing.

I'm not suppose to put requests for sex in my 1st e-mail??? I knew I was doing something wrong.

So ....Yeah Flew out a few Kites on some possible matches,did'nt really think I'd get a perfect landing! but hmm...perhaps maybe It's not late enough in the evening when we start thinking about how comftorable it would be to have companionship....weird though... I've always been honest I geauss I'm just too true to beleive it? Maybe I should go to school for players :(to become a player:( OoOoOoUuUuUuWwWwW not real desparate just need support!:)

YA! they do the "match with me" thing and it says they are interested........ but they NEVER respond to me when I mail them a note saying "Hey, we match!" followed by a more in-depth description of me / my likes / my hobbies / etc. and asking them to be more in-depth about theirself.

I have experienced before on other sites. But hey, keep on marching soldier. Don't give up no matter how many bombs are dropped. Keep dodging,aiming and shooting. We're bound to hit a target sooner or later. Dismiss!
