Have any of you experienced this?

What the heck?

I've seen some nice pictures of women, started a conversation... but they last like one e-mail, and they disappear. You send them another e-mail to say hi, and they don't respond.

I seriously don't think folks take these Internet sites serious or sincerely. Its like its all a big game of entertain-me, and when the initial thrill is gone, zip... so are they.

Pretty shallow if you ask me.

What do you think?

Yes, you start a conversation with a women then they dont want to talk the next time or are short. I am sick of the games, thought this site would be different!

that kind of thing truly happens all the time. It happenes everywhere tho... it's like being in a bar and some guy seems all into you and you give him your #... and you never hear from him again. Just one of those things I guess.

I agree it is rude to just stop talking like that.

I suppose I might be guilty of doing that once or twice myself.

Sometimes it's because there didn't seem to be much chemistry and other times it's been because the person I was corresponding with said something that was deeply off-putting. Like the man who invited me on a weekend camping trip with his three kids after our second date because, "it would be great to have someone do the cooking and the dishes" Don't get me wrong, I like to take care of people but well that was just yucky.

I feel fairly sure if someone just stops responding you are better off without them. Still, things happen and life sometimes gets in the way. If you are really interested you might try waiting perhaps ten days and sending a follow-up email saying something like, "I know you might be busy but I wanted to let you know I'd still like to talk when it's convenient for you"

I know but when you don't go out much ...
I guess all we can do is wait...
soon there will be someone special....
one that will talk more and really show interest...

the name of the game is wait,,,,,,,,,,,

Its male and female alike. My thought is that its not meant to be, so why fret over broken chain mail.
