Topic: my mom's boyfreind died the other night

My mom is deeply crushed. her boyfriend was a alcoholic and had cirrosis of liver and vomited a pool of blood and bled to death. It is hard to see my mom's heart so crushed and devastated. He was 44.

Some people just feel trapped in this life and find the only way they know how to escape it. Drinking is one of them. I will PRAY for him and for your mom to KNOW, he's no-longer feeling his pain.. And WE ALL should learn that WE shouldn't ever allow another to make US want to escape living. Your mom just needs time and love now to ease her heart... I wish you BOTH the best.

Sorry for the loss. Alcohol and dope doesn't care who or what you are. The rich and famous, the talented and the smart, and the ordinary regular folks. There are some folks who should never drink or get high.

I am sorry for her loss!! My bf was 42! Died from the same thing!! My prayers are with her at this time!

(i have never seen my mom cry so much in one day then now). I am so sorry for her loss! I went thru the same thing with my bf! She'll never "get over it", but she'll "get thru it" if you know what I mean! I "got thru it", but I always think about him!
