Sunday:

Sunday corresponds to the sun, our closest star. This day is full of wonder and all sorts of magical potential for success, wealth, and fame. Sundays are for personal achievements of any kind such as working towards a promotion at your job, seeking fame and wealth, or being acknowledged for a job well done. All of these goals fall under the golden influence of the sun. Some suggestions for Sunday enchantments would include:

- Sitting outside at sunrise and calling on the goddess Brigid for illumination and inspiration
- Wearing gold jewelry or clothing that is gold or sunshine yellow to pull some color magic into your life

- Arranging a few sunflowers in a vase and empowering these “flowers of the sun” for fame and ambition

- Gathering up the common marigold flower and scattering it’s petals about to encourage prosperity

- Baking up a batch of cinnamon rolls for the family and enchanting them for health and success

- Snacking on a solar fruit, the orange, and enjoying the magical boost it brings to your life

Yesterday was the Dark Moon, aka New Moon. The Dark Moon is my favorite and is a fresh new start every month.

You can use frosting. Wiccans have no food restrictions that I’m aware of, unlike Judaism and Islam and several others. I could be wrong there but none in recent memory. In fact I have tried some interesting dishes at pagan gatherings.

Here I found a recipe. This one is made at Yule. There are also some very exotic drink specialties both virgin and with alcohol.

Morning Julegroed

4 cups milk
A couple of almonds, finely chopped
1 rounded teaspoon of butter/margarine
1/4 cup sugar
1 cup washed white rice
A pinch of cinnamon powder
1/2 cup thick cream

In a large saucepan, heat the milk until boiling. Add butter/margarine, then add the rice and turn down the heat. Cover with lid, and let rice simmer slowly for about one hour or until the milk is absorbed. Transfer to a non-metal bowl and fold in the cream and almonds. Serve in small bowls with sugar and cinnamon sprinkled on top.

I prefer my sex food-free. Oh, I'm sorry, you were talking about cooking.
