This is great, Biden was my first choice of the dems. before the primaries. I'm betting Mccain just shat on himself;^]

I guess it really is true - opposites attract. Wonder if we could reverse the ticket....

My preference was Chuck Hagel, a Republican. I really want to see "a different kind of politics" be more than rhetoric.

Lindyy my love
Who do you recommend for McCain? Will it be Lieberman, a Democrat disguised as an Independent? Or will it be Giuliani, a Democrat disguised as a a Republican? Either way, the extremism is done. Someone clean up Cheney's old office at Halliburton so he can go get the money he earned while puppeting his boy through the war. It's okay Lindyy. We can have love and still disagree baby. |

For a while in 2000, my uncle was convinced he was related because we have tons of relatives in Boston and Connecticut. I love Lieberman. He's a moderate who puts issue ahead of party. McCain does as well. I wanted McCain in 2000 but Rove pulled the negative refraction stunt and here we are. Honestly - and I know you shall disagree - but I feel we are far better served in the next 4-8 years with either candidate over our current state of affairs. We'll see when the dust settles. |

Here is the message I got from Barack:
Al -- I have some important news that I want to make official. I've chosen Joe Biden to be my running mate. Joe and I will appear for the first time as running mates this afternoon in Springfield, Illinois -- the same place this campaign began more than 19 months ago. I'm excited about hitting the campaign trail with Joe, but the two of us can't do this alone. We need your help to keep building this movement for change. Please let Joe know that you're glad he's part of our team. Share your personal welcome note and we'll make sure he gets it: http://my.barackobama.com/welcomejoe Thanks for your support, Barack |

My preference was Chuck Hagel, a Republican. I really want to see "a different kind of politics" be more than rhetoric. I wouldn't mind seeing a bi partisan ticket, but not just for the sake of having one. On my humble, you'd be hard pressed to find a man as qualified as Biden, democrat republican or independant;^] |

I got a text message at 1:00 a.m.....then an e-mail at 3:00 a.m. Maybe we should make you the Mingle2 political blogger. No thanks! I just went to his website and registered to receive the message to see how it was going to work. I have to say that I was impressed....they did this simultaneous text message broadcast, must have been millions sent. Very impressive roll out. I think they have the technological advantage over McCain by a long shot. From what I have heard, McCain has never been on the internet and never sent an e-mail. WTF is up with that? |

Papa Bush had never seen a grocery store register scanner either until 10 years after its advent. These cats live in the Ivory Tower. I still vote on issues though. Details like that can be sorted and delegated. Obama will have a huge marketing advantage and, as we saw with the primary, he has a knack for getting people who know how to sell him. Saddle up and ride kids. It's gonna' be fun. |
