As I said in the other thread...Charlie Rangel, Dem in NY has a Bill, proposing the draft that was "tabled" per Nancy Pelosi "until 2009". (As in AFTER the election..)

The Republicans have consistently voted AGAINST the draft..and the only Draft proposal I am aware of, is the Dems, via the Bill of Charlie Rangel, Dem NY.

And why on earth does all this religious tripe, end up in the political debates?? Don't get that. Sounds a tad loony to me.

I'm for a draft where "chickenhawks" like **** Cheney can't get a deferment and Dubya can't hide and not show up for his National Guard duty. If the children of government officials all had an equal shot at being on the firing line, I think our reps would be much less apt to warmonger.

Read two articles yesterday, how elderly people were starved to death in the hospital in England. And my friend has a baby with problems, she has had to wait and wait and now was told "there IS a problem, but you have to wait until October to speak to the doctor." Do you want that here in America??

Not me! And that is what Obama and the Dems want.

And Hillary's idea of "health insurance for all", is the goverment determining who can afford insurance, and then garnisheeing their pay checks, to MAKE them have insurance. Do you want that??

McCain proposes to fix what is in place, go to his website...he breaks it all down, how he's going to do his best to fix the corrupt Medicare and Medicaid systems and make health insurance more affordable. Now that makes sense!

The other proposals mean that the rich will have all the good doctors, and the average joe will be stuck with the worst of the worse doctors. No thank you!

Again, instead of name-calling, know the issues..know what the candidate proposes to do, that is actually viable and not pie in the sky.

Why not debate the issues, what each candidate will attempt to accomplish, instead of who had an affair when? Frankly, I don't care.

I'm more interested in what the candidate proposes to do, to better the economy, to bring a realistic end to the war in Iraq (without just cutting and running...which means those troops died for nothing). The military I've spoken to, support McCain.

No way is Obama ready to run this country! No way!!

We need an experienced man and having military experience and all the foreign relations experience that McCain is a plus to me.
