**edit** alter ego.... when someone has a profile on here and opens another in another name to mislead friends/foes... sometimes refered to as a duplicate profile.... i prefer the term alter ego!**   I thought I was a cop once,,,,,BUT HE DIDN'T THINK IT WAS FUNNY!!!!!lol

Was just talking to somone about this last night. anyone on this forum could be doing that right now

Ya know I will admit if one does it to find out information on someone they are talking to ect.. Or just to be able to come in and post and have a good time with no harm intended.
But when they do it with the intentions of attacking others or being dishonest with someone by leading them on thinking they are interested in them. To me that is crossing the line. Just because this is the internet that does not give one the go ahead to not be honest and to hurt anyone they can just cause they can. |
