GOOD WRITE INDEED
We our failing as a society of caring people.
WE have lost the RESPECT for each other that FIRST
MADE US SEEM GREAT, as a nation.
NO-BODY has the TIME to CARE...about their own lives let-alone-anothers.
I was at a pilot truck stop this week and saw three young guys sitting on a curb there.
One gets up and goes looking in a trash can,
then a dumpster, nothing found, then sets back down. I passed them as I walked inside the truck-stop, they didn't say anything to me. They were not pan-handling..Just sitting there looking like they hadn't bathed in a month and hot and hungry.
NO-BODY acted like they were even there.
While checking out with my cup of coffee, I saw a buy one get one free candybar sale, I thought a short bit about them guys and went ahead and got one for them each, and gave um each a buck with their candy bars,,no THATS NOT MUCH,,,but ITS SOMETHING...and THEY were so damm happy,,I felt bad I could'nt have done more,,but at the same time felt good for just that.
I see people everyday pass through an opened door for them, and NOT EVEN SAY THANKS.
I see cars racing to me as they had seen I was going to turn in front of them,,,so race at me to prevent me from doing it.
Or having my signal on to move over a lane just to NOT have ANYONE let me..
Folks, I drive a semi and if im trying to change a lane to my left,,,IT MIGHT BE BECAUSE A COP HAS SOMEBODY STOPPED ON THE SHOULDER,,and IM TRYING NOT TO KILL SOMEONE!
PLEASE,,,,THINK,,,,,try and SHOW some kindness to others..I RESPECT ALL TURN-SIGNALS, and I ADJUST for them to come over CARS and TRUCKS.
Its like EVERYONE ONLY THINKS ABOUT THEIR-SELVES,,,and THEIR GETTING WORSE...everyday.
It might seem a little scary at first to TRY and be nice but just like on here..
HOW MANY of YOU have REALLY opened up your hearts and minds and GIVEN YOUR TIME to a stranger here,,,or even a friends on here?
WE ALL share this LIFE,and this United States,
TOGETHER,,Brothers,Sisters,,,,,No-colors- NO-RACES- NO-AGES....."TOGETHER" can't we TRY daily to FIND the respect and compassion and PRIDE we once SHOWED the world.
Our fighting troops ALL NEED to be waved at and HANDS SHAKED if any of YOU get THAT HONOR!
And tell them your proud of them for searving.
Show your HEARTS men and women and THIS WORLD will SHOW you its SMILES.
I know we ALL can't do SPECIAL things like time and money to just anyone,,,but,,,,,WE ALL CAN RESPECT EVERYONE WE COME INTO CONTACT WITH DAILY..and if YOU get a chance to THINK for a brief moment,,,PLEASE,,,think about THAT STRANGER as if it COULD BE YOU!
I love this world and its people.
But I also know I CAN SHOW IT to a stranger,,,,I hope most of YOU can to,,,or,,wink,,CAN FIND THAT ABILITY! This life is very short and no-one should have to suffer neglect or abuse or hunger
and thirst. WE CAN STOP ALL THAT IF WE STAND AS ONE TOGETHER! Like we did to become this America.
