I often live with a guy friend, share expenses, and avoid foolish choices. Friends keep you grounded...like not being in a relationship just to avoid being lonely.

Lonliness is a state of mind, you can be in a crowd and be lonely. Being alone is not a bad thing if you use the you time wisely.
So no I would not do that. Not good for either of us in that frame of mind. |

I have and with the relationship still felt lonely. Having a relationship doesn't necessarily fix lonely. Work can help but then after work it can be back to being lonely. I agree with the friendships help to keep one grounded.

It'll happen. actually he called to get my 2nd ex to bees address... the Marines wanted to go kick azz......  unfortuntaely..he has no time to fix mom up..he is being deployed..I think u may know that though... |

Nope. I'm still relying on my patience to pull me through. Thats where you have your friends and family to keep you occupied until that certain someone comes along. Good things will come to those who wait.
