I had a longtime client at work piss on me and now I'm
feeling kinda blue and need a good laugh or sexy thought to
pick me up. I know I'm not alone in feeling like the world's
fucked up at times but damn. I'm an insurance agent and at my
job I go out of my way to help people who really don't appreciate it or
worse they try to fuck me over by writing bad
checks and shit. As I'm writing this I'm realizing I gotta
stop being a bitch and feeling sorry for myself.

what's up jimi, i know that it is easier said than done but don't let it
get you down. they may have been having a bad day theirselves, or maybe
they are just an ass whole. there are some pretty good jokes posted
under the general topics thread funny jokes. it might help give you a
chuckle. hang in there, tomorrow is a new day. maybe they will come in
tomorrow and you can cancel their insurance lol. i'm just joking.

if it's any consolation, i do real estate and lost out on a rental deal
worth $14,000-$16,000 a month a few months back.

and then lost two other rental deals worth about $3,000 each recently as
well.

what i realize from being a business owner is that you have to take the
hits if you want to get the glory.

i know the top guys at our company 'fail' more than anyone else, it's
just that they try harder than everyone else too.

so at the end of the day it's not really how many deals you close, but
rather how many time you pick yourself up and keep going.

i read many business biographies and if you follow the careers of guys
like steve jobs, bill gates, their moment of greatest glory oftentimes
came soon after their greatest set up.

you can be sad for a moment, be angry for a moment, but pick yourself up
and keep going.

you're not in a 50 yard dash, you're in a marathon.
