Before I got married she heard that I had 3 kids in different states. Hell, I was only 21 then and only been with 2 before her. They didn't have any kids. Never did find out where that started from.

There was a recent rumor at work that I was sleeping with the boss and was now pregnant. It didn't take long to get that one stopped because a) I can't get pregnant b) he's happily married and has a 2 wk old son c) his wife and I are really good friends. d) I'm not in any way a cheater!

The appliance repair man in my apt building told my neighbor that he knew me before I was married and had kids that I was a stripper at the local strip club. Funny part my town doesn't have a strip club and never did. Ha

I walked into an establishment that I'd not been to in over a year, and all the old regulars were there and turned around and stared at me like they'd seen a ghost. The rumor has gone around that I had died in a car wreck. It was another gal named Rose that used go in there now and then.
