Do men really see women as a piece of meat? Or do they actually care about who she is regarding personality and character?

To put it indelicately... The drop dead gorgeous harpy today will be the drop dead saggy harpy tomorrow, personality is definitely at the top.

I just tend to ignore the piece of meat types. They turn me off.
