At what point do you finally wash and or change your ashtray???? I clean it once per day. I add baking soda to it so it will not smell so back when I put it out. Empty it A LOT!!

I wish the guy who lives above me actually used an ashtray. Instead, he likes to stand in the stairwell and smoke, then throw the butts on the ground.

I quit a while ago using that Chantix drug. It DOES seem to work, that’s for sure. Back when I did smoke, I was pretty bad about emptying ashtrays. I would if they started to overflow with visitors. Also, if someone was coming by that didn’t smoke, as a courtesy; I washed them and put them away.

Empty them often.Wash them every night with lemon soap!! works great!!!!

I use one of those smokeless car ashtrays so the smell is not so strong for myself. When I have smoking company I break out the real ones but I like to clean them daily because it lessens the evidence of smoking from the room faster.

i buy big ashtrays and let them pile up till it is a fire hazzard same here dude...sometimes its just too much of a pain to actually get up and cary that s.o.b. to the can...:)

any time I leave the room, I take the ash tray with me and wipe it out with a paper towel or wet wipe. Me too! You guys must be related to my sister! When I am at her house she follows behind me and cleans the ashtray after each cigarette! I smoke outside but have an ashtray that gets emptied when the mood strikes me or there is no more room to snub the butt.
