I agree the sustem has to many flaws etc... It's very sad.. I want brotherhood..Marine with Marine..Brotherhood.. They will truely watch over each other.. I already talked with Brett..he wasn't feeling well..his Marine Brothers took care of him..just as he would have done for them... Semper FI....   My son was a Marine. The real world does not have simple solutions to problems. May God watch over our troops! |

I have an idea!! If your state has the death penalty......... USE IT!!!!!!!!!

WOW - incredible idea----only thing I would do differently is that IF THEY SURVIVE the war would be then to return them to jail/prison, the "deal" having been to take them off death row....that way if they do survive, they are not back out on the streets causing further harm to innocent people.........  yes, that is a good enough deal for the real corrupt crooks ... not releasing them into the community but i do know that some people are in there for only pot possession ... i don't think the laws should be so strict for people who are non violent & for those who are not sex predators MMMMMMmm yes I agree wholeheartedly-------- I'm talking about the hard core-type of criminals who are on death row and/or who have committed crimes that would hurt society should they be released back into the community

Let me make sure I clarified this right..It is just an opinionated poetic form poem. But all in all, what I was getting at, bring our troops home, for they are not the criminals. Let them train the deviants that would go over there and let them find Osama. The Iraqi's don't care who we are, whether we are black, white or whatever, they will do their best to kill us, no matter whether we are marines or death row inmates. It would save the tax payers lots of money by saving on meals for them while they sit and ponder if they will get an appeal or while they are waiting on the needle. And I have gone into deeper thought about this as well...before they go over there, we implant them with a chip, and that chip won't allow them back into the states because of a device in the chip that will blow if we see one on radar coming into the states. I know we have the technology.
Zanne and Artistic....prayers and respect to you and your sons for fighting for the cause and/or need, but what cause is it? Bush just decided he was going to put an all out man hunt on Osama and be done with it. Have we found him yet? How many men and women have died for that one Assama? And like I have said, it is just my opinion and yes, it may seem like the Dirty Dozen from years ago, and yes, it was a movie, but this is reality and it may work. Only one way to find out is to try it and see. Think of the money and lives we'd save. Shoot, the inmates wouldn't even have to go over there dressed as Marines or the Army...let them go in daily wear and blend in with the crowd. Those terrorists don't have any remorse for the ones they killed, so why would the inmates? And Marc, you are right as well..if your state condones the death penalty...why waste time...go ahead and do away with them the next day. That in itself would save money. Treat them like they do the animals in an animal shelter. They don't have any say so on when they live or die, and they get put to sleep the next day when the decision is made. Ok, I'm through...just opinionating...and ranting...because I'm tired of seeing lives killed at expense of one sorry arse man. |
