Would you consider dating a guy that is a different race thin you?

What would your family think?

I can and have.
I always like people for their personality.
Race is of no matter to me, ever.
Everyone in my family is just waiting to see who I'll date next.

They don't necessarily agree, because they want me to marry a nice Korean boy- but it's the 21st century and we're in the US.
They understand. I'm also a different generation, born and raised here.

I really dislike how people prefer certain types or races.
I wish that everyone would be more open minded and just go for what they're attracted to.
I think that you can be attracted to anyone- not just what you're "supposed" to be with.

I have, I do. To me it's all about the person you are attracted to, race, age, gender shouldn't matter at all.

As the family goes... yah they have their prefrences, but as long as the person I'm with treats me with respect, they are generally happy with it.

Bottom line... it's about being loved, the phyiscal aspects shouldn't matter.

Who cares about race, or racism(Which causes reverse racism). I say everyone is equal we all no color is genetic. Some understand this well others don't, but would you not date someone because they had blue eyes? I don't really care about color period.

i really appreciated the comments made by everyone in this forum. its just a testimony of how far we as a people have come.i totally agree with interracial dating, i love women of all types.

I would marry a woman of any race as long as they're petite, sexy, funny, honest, under 32 years old and smart. (and in love with me ofcourse!!)

In my whole life, I have never felt any different between anyone from any
other race. All I have ever seen were people. Maybe because I was raised
in a predominantly black neighborhood, and all my friends were of another
race than me.

So during my working life, I have still never seen a difference.
I married a beautiful 1/2 black man...tall and lovely and wonderful.
He died in Viet Nam tho.

Did the same thing again...This one was a highway patrolman, killed on
duty.

So I am a double widow now and still don't see any differences in the
races.

I have dated many girls from asia when I was in Korea for eight years. My father is Iranian and mother is white so I grew up with interracial parents and feel that race doesn't really have anything to do with it. Ones family may at first not be so welcoming to their son or daughter sleeping with a person from another culture or with different skin but if the two are really into eachother family with eventually accept it and move on.

I am all for interracial dating, even though my family is against it, and I date interracially (bf is black). People need to understand that we are ALL HUMAN with no more than different pigmentatin - thats it!!!

I only date women. But I've dated some pretty amazing ones who are not the same race as me.

I would never date outside my race. Just my personal preference. My family wouldn't care what race I dated though.

I have and still do.

I was raised as the oldest of four by my single mother. my two younger brothers and sister on my moms side are all half black ( my little oreo's) I love my family and have dated out of my race. I have No Choice in race over the opossing sex. What can i say a good woman is a good woman!

I went on a date with a guy I met on another site yesterday. He made some bigoted remarks about other people. I turned to him and asked what did he think I was. He said you're Native American. I said my mother is full blood, but my father is Black/French Creole. He said he doen't believe in dating outside of his race.

Due to my light complexion, and eye color-he must've thought I was White. Very sad in this day and age.
