Actually, madam, I think Indianprincess might be correct. You know about my back issue. My leg and foot started to go out and tighten up right before my back gave out. I didn't know what was going on until I read up on it a little for signs. Maybe you might need an adjustment or something. I think your vertfebra might be pinching your spinal cord a little and might have to be put back into place. Just my opinion though....just a thought to check... How are you by the way??? Anyone told you they loved you today???? Well....I will.....LOVE YOU MADAM!!!!!

my first thoughts was mets to the bone or neuro but if you've had those scans you're in the clear for ALL of that!!! drinker drinker THEN...that leads me to back. Obviously even with experience we can't know. Have you seen a neuro doc that could examine your back for you?

this tightening of the muscle/tendons started just recently in the last month seems like just after i got here to indiana it got worse and is deteriorating pretty rapidly. went to walmart tonight to help byron get the kids supplies and i could barely make it to the car and we were only in there 20 minutes. i cant do stairs or steps any longer and its all i can do to get up and down when i sit because of the knees...just wish we could do somethign about that.

Well....I'd say it's normal to be concerned given your recent diagnosis. If all of your scans are up to date...it could be anything...arthritis, fibromiaglia, disc trouble...that just happened coincendentally to your other diagnosis.

have you been tested for diabetes because my mom has it and hers does that some times too and she also get little stinging pain in her toes, she finds that sitting in a tub with warm water and empson salt helps

i was tested for diabetes...dont have it.

i cant walk very well because of all of this and i trip and fall quite often/easily

spikes in blood pressure can cause that, if it feels like you have a "buzz" when it happens, they should test you for MS, it could also be dehydration that can cause the muscles to spasm like that.

i have some soma 350's which are muscle relaxers. my daughter sometimes lightly massages the foot for me to make sure circulation is getting to it since i cant really feel much there except the pulling sensations. i have a heating pad i will try that

i really appreciate everyone's imput and not to sound morbid here, but often it helps when others with problems come talk abotu theirs too...exchange ideas, etc...

thanks guys/gals xoxoxo

my hunch is musculo-skeletal alignment issues ... have you tried a chiropractor or a rolfer?

If your thyroid is out of whack, it can cause your muscles to act that way too.

i drink plenty of fluids. ive been able to keep things down more than i could a few months ago, but i never had high blood pressure...ever, until recently. its been high each time we've checked it. i dont get the buzz feeling....but it is painful
