Sorry just re read that last paragraph...when exactly did you have your bone scan? how long ago?

bone scan was done end of may i believe...was recently. the MRI was done june 13th i think.

GREAT!!! THAT is good news right there!

this tightening of the muscle/tendons started just recently in the last month seems like just after i got here to indiana it got worse and is deteriorating pretty rapidly. went to walmart tonight to help byron get the kids supplies and i could barely make it to the car and we were only in there 20 minutes. i cant do stairs or steps any longer and its all i can do to get up and down when i sit because of the knees...just wish we could do somethign about that.

If your thyroid is out of whack, it can cause your muscles to act that way too.

they checked the thyroid. it was normal.

when i try to wiggle my toes, which they dont move far because its so tight, i can actually feel the tendons (at least i think thats them haha) almost like rolling and moving around in there.

I see that you said you were in Indiana! I am also in Indiana and I also have Fibromyalgia. The weather here in Indiana is crazy and my muscles ache a lot! I would suggest that you buy an electric blanket and put it on your bed. It really does help if you lay right on it.
I do hope you are feeling better and your health is improving? I am a cancer survivor, I had colon cancer in 04 and just went into remission in August of 07. I think after you have cancer your body goes through so many changes!! Have you called your doctor and have they ran any test to find out what is going on with the pain your having? If you are not happy with what your doctor says...get another opinion.
I wish you luck!!
Stay happy and get healthy flowerforyou

My husband went through what sounds like the same
thing you are going through with your legs. It was called peripheral neuropathy. We used to soak his feet twice a day in epsom salts and put capsacian on it. It comes in a tube and is made from jalopenia(I know that isn't spelled right)peppers. Then put socks
on to keep his legs and feet warm. It helped with the pain a lot.
It was caused by nerves in his lower back. Check
with your Dr.

Good Luck and get well soonflowerforyou
