I look upon life
And all the things I've done,
From hearts being broke
To the hearts being won.
A failed long marriage
Love was meant to stay,
So are my tomorrow's
Going to happen today?

My hopes and dreams
Of true love, one day soon,
To sweep them off their feet
And dance to a tune.
Will my future look bright
Of my cabin by a lake,
Or will love find misery
And me be on the take?

I just take it
One day at a time,
Till the moment I find
The one that will be mine.
Are my tomorrow's
Going to happen today?
Only God knows first hand
Because He knows the right way.
