Chances are they didn't want to deal with their emotions/feelings. They got drunk because they were afraid to deal with those feelings. When they sobered up the feelings were still there and they started to deal with them and expressed them to you.

But if a person keeps wanting to break up when drunk, and get back when sober, the odds are, deep down, there is a reason they want to break up and they keep acting on it when drunk. Have a friend that says the truth always comes out when people are drunk. Sometimes, I think that is probably fairly accurate. |
