I use IE and FF - depending on what comp, do agree IE is taking forever and a day to load, FF much better, but tried to look at opera, as the high remarks it got on this thread, but unsure which to download, any help?

i just downloaded Google Chrome as well. it's a little buggy, and i didn't quite like their overly invasive EULA (especially when it comes to their updating and downloading your browser on THEIR terms and the scope of information they want to get from your browsing habits), so i uninstalled it.

sounds like it'll be firefox for me for the foreseeable future.

That's what kept me away from Google's Chrome too.

They have modified their EULA slightly since launch because it was keeping so many away. Still, I think I will hold off to see how it works out for new users.

Sticking with Firefox for now.

firefox is the most promising of all of them, especially with the 'noscript' and 'adblock' extensions installed. opera is pretty good as well, but it has some idiosyncrasies that might turn people off. of course, IE sucks and should be avoided at all costs.

some people have had success with 'flock' which is based on firefox, but i don't have enough experience to know.

Firefox first, then safari. For some odd reason new viruses/trojans/spyware crap that can shutdown acces to web to or be able to download stuff to remove those things affects IE and now firefox, but safari still isn't affected. So I got safari on my list of favorite browsers now, but it is mostly used as "Break glass incase of emergency" I wrorte this while drinking. drinks
