But yes, this one was the one that made me go "hmmmmm". But now that you've explained it, you've taken the air out of the "naughty speculation" balloon.... ![]() |

I am a happy transplant. I grew up in Oregon, my dad would bring us back to Kansas every summer to visit our Grandmother, Aunts, Uncles, and Cousins. I always had so much fun here. When we went back to Oregon it would rain for 9 months out of the year. I can't enjoy the beach or mountains from inside a window. I like to go out and have fun. Looking out from a wet window pain is no fun. Being here in Kansas, and getting to step outside every day of the year is a pleasure!

I always heard it rained in Seattle, but never thought about rain patterns in Oregon. Were you close to the coast then?

L.A. all it ever is out there is "Sunny, 72 degrees"
They don't even have weathermen in that town, just a poster that says "Sunny, 72 degrees." That's not even the worst part of L.A. (and I'm not referring to Lawrence for those of us that are natives) worst part of L.A. is all the Californians. Then thier is that constant ocean smell (ohh dead fish and salt!!), it's always on fire, high taxes. Nope Kansas kicks California's butt all up and down this country. |

Otherwise, who do we blame when it miraculously starts to rain for no reason? |

You know, I just throw on a sweater. Haven't even turned the heat on yet, but I think with it dropping to freezing tonight, I just might.

I throw on the heater. Screw sweaters. If I can't walk around my apartment in shorts and a tank top, it ain't warm enough.

After I replied last time I did put the heat on. At 60.

I should be. was headed that way, just wanted to check the boards before going. I'm always running late on Yoga day.

I took classes this spring, and again this fall. I'd have asked you if you wanted to come but you had class.
I cooked last night, made Beef Stew AND chili! Not so proud of the beef stew (lots of chunks of stuff not much stew for some reason), will try a different one next time. The chili seemed much more promising. I'll try it tonight. My cousin and his wife should be parents by now if I remember right. They were planning on having the baby today. I'll have to check my phone for a picture text. |
