They are only a majority by a couple seats. Not nearly enough to over-ride the 12 vetoes Bush has signed since 2006.

But you can't vote inependet. You have to vote either Dem or Rep. They have forced you so you cant vote the way you want to. I go for the one I feel best qualified for the job. It don't count. Bush lost the election in 2000, but was voted in on the electorial ballets, not the peoples vote.

Politics isn't rocket science . . . . I think I have met people who cant do basic algebra and understand quit clearly the motives of people and there desire to attain office. . . . its not that people do not understand . . . . they just don't care.

My only point in creating this thread was to get an understanding of the issues that drive people to choose their candidate.

I could vote Dem, Repub, Libertarian, Constitutional party, or any other way I want to vote.

In NC, an Independent can vote in both primaries if they want.

In the general election it doesn't matter what party your registered with. You can vote anyway you wish as well!

Always went with a Pube, but after listening to Bush and co's premeditated lies and seeing he had no idea how to be President, my conscious wouldn't allow me to vote for him again!

After watching this election it's evident the whole Republican Party is corrupt and it will be a cold day in hell before I vote for another one.
