All relationships are work... It will depend on how much effort the couple wants to put into it, I suppose. And eventually one would have to be willing to relocate.

yes.. but with conditions.. one of the main ones being that plans are made for a time when it will no longer be long distance... either one moves to the other, or both move to a place that meets all their needs.

i wont scare anyone away from the idea .i just got let down a few weeks the distance got to be to much for her . it is very emotionally draining and physically exausting.

Maybe...hasn't worked for me....when we met it wasn't the same as emailing & talking on the phone....chemistry is a tricky thing....and how people presented themselves is NOT what they really are when you meet in person.... and with that being said, i tend to fall into the distance trap again....

What kills me is that most everyone's ancestors gave up their lives, left their families and travelled thousands of miles to a whole new country while few of their descendents refuse to travel outside their own area for love. Too strange a thinking for me!
